Testing & Inspection

Testing & inspection of Life safety systems by a BASA/FASA certified technician. Following each scheduled inspection or test, a technician will provide a detailed report to identify potential opportunities for improving system performance and assisting in code compliance. Through the technology of Fire Scan® provided by Building Reports™ (www.buildingreports.com), our technicians use IOS/Apple Linea Pro scanners to scan devices and upload results to a secure, web-based server account. This data is compared to past inspections and statistical analysis using an online database. Unique bar-code registration ensures comprehensive inspections by monitoring our technician’s progress in real time during the inspections, preventing missed items and facilitating fast action on repairs. Scanned timestamps cannot be modified and reports are ready immediately as either a dynamic web page or a downloadable document to authorized users only. The web based inspection reporting system is the trusted source for verification and authentication of inspection data for buildings because our technology provides benchmarks and statistical reporting on inspections that cannot be matched by typical PC based software. We provide third party quality control analysis for your inspections that simply doesn’t exist with paper inspections forms or other software generated programs..

Fire Alarm System Service
In conjunction with system testing we are able to make repairs to any deficiencies found during inspections or may arise at any other time. Our service representatives are on call and available 24/7 for prompt dispatch to your facility. We will develop a plan to deliver the needed level of response so you’ll know your people and property are protected around the clock.
Runner Service
Genset Fire and Security can provide our clients with the requirements of providing runner response service. This provides on-site response within 2 hours of an alarm signal and 4 hours of a trouble signal. In addition where a jurisdiction requires central station service and a placarded system we can provide the same service as defined by NFPA72 2010 edition section 3.3.231 Runner Service: The service provided by a runner at the protected premises, including resetting and silencing of all equipment transmitting fire alarm or supervisory signals to an off-premises location.
Monitoring
In order to provide you with a greater level of protection, our Central Station Monitoring service is supported by ETL/UL Certified facilities. Professional operators are trained to identify incoming alarms and notify the appropriate authorities and individuals needed for response. Our monitoring centers provide around the clock safety and assurance.
Additional Services
In conjunction with or as a standalone service, Genset Fire and Security can test, inspect and provide service to many other life safety and security systems including all other low voltage systems.
