Re: COVID -19 Update
At the top of everyone’s mind today is concern over the ever-evolving situation caused by the COVID 19 virus. I personally wanted to take a moment to update you on the steps that we at Genset Services, Genset Prime Power, Genset Fire & All Digital Technology are taking to balance sales and service continuity while keeping the safety of customers, staff and suppliers our top priority.
We ask that the pickup of parts, supplies and equipment at any of our three locations be limited to only emergency situations and that any visit be pre-approved and scheduled in advance. As long as the US Mail, FedEx and UPS remain operational, we will gladly ship your orders.
Our highly qualified technicians are the front line of our repair, servicing, rental and new equipment commissioning efforts. While their mission is essential to keep our customer’s, facilities protected from utility outages, we also recognize that there is a balance between providing service and keeping them safe. To accomplish that balance, we’re providing them with new policies and procedures, so they feel comfortable working at your facilities while delivering on our core commitments and services.
We are closely monitoring the recommendations and mandates of the CDC, WHO, and federal, state, and local health agencies and have moved quickly to enact recommended precautions and practices. As of the writing of this update, all our staff are still hard at work. Some however have been assigned to work from home to limit the risk of exposure and to allow for proper social distancing. This change may cause slight delays in the transfer or return of calls. Please be patient and know that we will respond as soon as possible. Since 2003 Genset Holdings has been providing exceptional support to our customers during the most challenging of situations caused by hurricanes and other unexpected outages. We have built an organization that not only rises but thrives on such occasions. COVID-19 is a challenge that has, is or will affect everyone even those who never contract the virus. We are here, we are open, and we are operating as close to usual as possible.
